It is made from a multi-layer aluminum foil composite film and can be vacuum-sealed and heat-sealed to protect contents from light, moisture, oxygen, and odor. The bag is available in flat, stand-up, or custom styles, with customizable size, thickness, printing, zipper, one-way valve, tear notch, and more.
Laminate Structure
The product uses a multi-layer laminated film structure. Common material combinations are as follows:
• Outer layer: PET (polyester) for printing substrate and scratch resistance.
• Middle layer: Aluminum foil (AL) as the core barrier layer, providing excellent oxygen, light, and moisture barrier performance.
• Inner layer: PE (polyethylene) or RCPP (retortable polypropylene) for heat-sealing and food-contact safety; RCPP is used for high-temperature retort applications.
• Optional structures include: PET/AL/PE (standard), PET/AL/PA/PE (enhanced puncture resistance), and PET/AL/NY/RCPP (retortable, up to 121°C).
