The drawstring ice bag is a transparent, low-temperature resistant packaging bag specially engineered for packaged ice cubes, crushed ice and cold chain storage.
Made from LDPE film with a drawstring closure, it can be filled quickly and tied by hand without any tools, keeping ice clean, sealed and protected from melting and contamination.
Available in 8 lb, 10 lb and 20 lb capacities, it suits ice plants, supermarkets, convenience stores and food-service applications.
Material Structure
The bag is made from LDPE (low-density polyethylene) film produced by blow molding, which remains flexible and tear-resistant at frozen temperatures. Standard wall thickness is 3.8 silk for 8 lb and 10 lb bags and 4.8 silk for the 20 lb size. Drawstring channels are formed along the top edge, so the bag can be pulled tight and tied in one motion without extra tools. The film is transparent for clear visibility and moisture-proof to prevent sticking and mildew. The material is suitable for direct ice contact and maintains its strength at freezer temperatures.
